Day 5 Estella to Torres del Rio

Check the map of our morning start to witness what happens when missing a yellow marker. The arrow was painted on a yellow wall lit by yellow street lights. The walk today was on a wide path with a very manageable surface. Unlike yesterday's best preserved Roman road. Made to last forever but hard to walk on.
Along the way we were over taken by Vinny, a Captain of Ryan Air. When the camino is wide enough you can walk three abreast. We verbally jostled back and forth making the time fly by.
As we entered Los Arcos, our planned destination, we asked Vinny where he planned to stay  He was going on to Torres del Rio. He had checked that the alburque Mariela was open. Hey you would have to follow a Ryan Air Captain. As we walked the streets of Los Arcos the smell of pastry filled the air  We filled several bags with decadence and
an hour and a quarter later, we arrived at one of most picturesque alburques. We ravenously downed a meal of salad and salmon with beer chasers.
Our plan for tomorrow is to finish up at Navarette.

Every one should experience Casa Mariela in Torres Del Rio, very friendly everything excellent food in their restaurant
